Pour Decisions is the Mermaid Dayz collection where the glass is in the picture on purpose. A martini, a flute, a red, something with fruit standing up in it. The drink is never the story. It is what she is holding while the crab makes his case, the seagull stares, and she takes her time with the answer.
The crab makes his case first
Protect The Martini has a redhead leaning on a red buoy painted with Touch It, Try Me while a seagull perches on top and considers his odds. The Olive Ultimatum is the same standoff from the water, her line reading Don't Even Think About It. Problem Solved raises a martini at a dock piling under the words Fixed It, and Bad Hair, Good Pour has enormous windblown hair, sunglasses and a martini at a buoy, every priority in order. Too Much Attitude and Unapologetically Extra both feature a crab with a tiny sign and a blonde answering him without lowering her glass.
Bubbles for good news and red for the long version
Prove It, Darling sits a blonde in sunglasses on a dock with a flute and an ice bucket, and Raise Your Game answers a crab's Lower Your Standards sign from above. Salty But Bougie lifts a flute with the words Salty Hair, Fancy Drink, and Thanks For Sharing toasts a crab who did not, in fact, share. Tipsy Siren Soirée fills a clawfoot tub with champagne bottles, fruit, flowers and three mermaids who have no plans to get out. On the red side, Tomorrow's Problem holds a glass of wine on a rock with the bottle within reach, Tomorrow's Problem At Sunset moves it to an Adirondack chair on a dock with a sailboat going by, Unbothered & Uncorked listens to a lobster read from a very long list, and Uncorked On The Rock has a crab fanning her with a scallop shell while she drinks.
Whatever the octopus is pouring
Tentacles & Tequila and Tentacles On Tap put an octopus behind the bar, one on a striped buoy with a gull on top, one in a captain's hat handing over cocktails from a barrel. Two Drink Minimum puts a cocktail in each of her hands, Why Create Conflict? watches him juggle bottles in the water, and Unbothered & Unscheduled holds a glass under Time Is A Suggestion while the octopus holds a pocket watch. Salt Rimmed Siren keeps it simple with a margarita at the piling, and Rules Don't Apply takes a sip directly beneath a sign that reads Absolutely No Drinking.
Whose Friday this is
You know her. She texts one word at four fifty eight on a Friday and everyone knows which table to head for. Pick the one holding what she would be holding, martini or margarita or the whole bathtub, and let her decide whether the crab gets a seat. She is in no hurry, and she never has been.
